Lyceum Course - Basic Genealogy - Sample Descendancy Tree

To see this tree on the Internet, do the following steps:

1. Go to WorldConnect (click on this link) World Connect at RootsWeb
2. In entry form, enter:
   • Surname: Mounts
   • Leave option on Exact
   • Given Name: Providence
   • Spouse: Van Meter (Two words)
   • Check the Fuzzy Search Option
   • Leave the rest form entries blank
   • Click on Search
3. Your browser will return a page with a table of entries, each of which comes from someone who has submitted information which includes all the men named "Providence Mounts" who married a woman with last name Van Meter
4. Find the data base labelled "bretney1" (as of the date this page was created, it was the last entry).
5. Click on the corresponding Providence Mounts II (not here, in the page just returned)
6. You will get a family sheet for the family of Providence Mounts II and wife Hanna Van Meter.
7. Click on Descendancy (not here, in the page just returned)
8. You will see a "descendancy tree" for Providence Mounts II and wife Hanna Van Meter, as posted by Lesley Tadatada. Her contact e-mail address is also given there as an image.
9. If you wish, experiment with other options, such as Ahnentafel.
