Meeting Place - Swimming Area Lot in Chenango Valley State Park
From Binghamton, East on I88 to exit #3 (Port Crane and NY369). Left at bottom
of ramp onto NY369. About three miles make a left at sign Chenango Valley
State Park. At entrance building, keep left and proceed
to end of road at the swimming access parking area.
To Destination
- Left from parking to first right
- Right to gate unto Rogers Road
- At T Right onto NY369
- Through Port Crane then a nearly 180 degree Left on
NY7B
Not marked but paved
- At Sanataria Springs, continue Straight on old NY7
- Left onto NY221
- Nice long climb to Tunnel
Return to Start
- From Tunnel, continue on NY221 then after downhill, Left
at T onto NY79
- When NY79 turns right at junction with NY369
Right to Methodist Church (possible lunch)
Or Straight on NY369
- Right to entrance pavilion of CVSP then Left after entrance to swimming access parking.

Notes -
There is a entrance fee at CVSP which is waived for
cars whose driver is 62 and older. Before school dismisses,
and after Columbus Day entrance is free to all.
Some may prefer to park at the Port Crane fishing access
on NY369 just after passing under I88. Wait until the group
from CVSP arrives. This makes the ride slightly shorter as
on the return, you do not go into the park, but proceed
straight down NY369/.
