Hickories Park is off NY17C in east Owego, turn south at McDonalds.
Coming from Binghamton area on NY17 take exit #65 to Owego, staying
to the left after crossing the bridge. At the bottom of the
ramp at the light, proceed directly ahead (across NY17C) and
continue to the park.
To Nichols
- From the park to Light at NY17C
- Left on NY17C - stay on 17C
- At Light/Courthouse continue Straight on Front Street
- At T Left on River Street
- On River Street keep Left staying on River Street
- At T Left on NY17C
- Left on Church Street
- Left at T on NY282 to Nichols
- Left at T on NY282 and East River Drive
Return to Owego - Hickories
- Continue on East River Drive when NY282
turns right
- Nicholas Kirby Park is on the left (site of Blueberry Festival)
- Continue on East River Drive
- Right on Stanton Hill Road - CR54
Pass under NY17
- Right on Berry Road
- Left on Smith Creek Road
- Left at T onto Sulphur Springs Road
- CAUTION - Sulphur Springs Road makes 90 degree Right at bottom of
steep grade, becomes NY434
- Continue east on extension of NY434 to NY96
- At this point continue on NY434 or if tired of hills see
Alternate Return through Owego
- Following NY434
- At light Left onto bridge to cross river.
- At fork, keep Left towards Owego
- After stop at bottom of ramp, Straight onto Hickories Park Drive
- Continue into park.
Alternate Return through Owego
- Left off NY434 to follow NY96 - cross bridge
- At light Right on NY17C East (Front Street)
- Right at Light onto Hickories Park Drive (at MacDonalds)
- Continue into park.
